If you’re in the Kennebunk, ME, area on Saturday, July 30, be sure to stop by the Blueberry Fair, held at the Unitarian Church on Main Street in Downtown Kennebunk. This is always one of the most well-attended summer craft fairs in Southern Maine! All kinds of vendors and artists will be selling their handcrafted goods, including Book Charms. A wide range of earrings, necklaces, wine charms and bookmarks will be available. And, for the first time, Book Charms will have a new style of bookmark available, created with Shepherd’s Hook and a Book Charm dangling from beads and/or Squibbles.
More great news! Book Charms is now being represented in three states – Maine, Massachusetts and Minnesota. During the Saco Arts Festival, we met Shelley from Paperbacks & Pieces, Winona’s oldest and largest book store. Shelley fell in love with Book Charms and has placed her first order. Thank you, Shelley! Book Charms is also now available in the Wellfleet Audubon Gift Shop in South Wellfleet, MA. And sales have been brisk at Handcrafters Hall in Newburyport, MA. If you haven’t had a chance to drop by, take a few minutes to say hi to Chris and Sandy next time you’re in Newburyport. Handcrafters Hall is located at 75 Merrimac Street.
